31st of March, doesn’t the time fly.

Well tomorrow I should have had an operation on my knee, but after the accident nearly a month ago, I think, I continued skiing and generally doing things and the knee played along nicely, last week I went to see a lovely chap that Mike goes and visits once a month to give me his opinion whether I should or should not go for the op and after consultation and certain exercises we decided that the operation is not necessary at this time as long as I do my exercises to strengthen the muscles in my knee I should be ok for a while. Hurray.

If you had a look on Mikes blog you would have read about our two lambs, first was born on the 5th of March  and the second on the 18th, they are both rams, very lovely, lively little rams, we lost one of the twins in the second batch which is a shame but such is nature. Ewes are doing really well, motherhood has proved much easier for Ewe-Ewe,  our older ewe, she is finding it much easier to be a mother then Tiddles but that is why most farmers will breed from two year old ewes.

The weather has turned wintry again, in the middle of March we had brilliant sunshine, primroses started to come up, the temperature during the day was reaching +12 on same days, today we have +2 and it is raining , snowing, blowing, and this has been going round for a couple of days, but pretty normal for this time of the year. We just forget sometimes.

We are getting ready for new chickens, just waiting for slightly stable temperatures as they are kept indoors in +22 degrees and I really don’t want them to die shortly after they arrive, that would be pointless.

I apologize for the lack of blogs lately, but as spring is springing into action I probably will do the same. Right now I am going to put some more crochet pictures on my Crochet page.
