Hello, it is the 27th of December and + 8 Degrees, after many days we are without a fog all over the hills, which for me is just mind blowing, the fields are greeny brown colour, there is no snow. Our local ski area is struggling the mountains had snow but due to the inversion and the weather it is melting. BUT there is cold weather on the way they are talking about – temperatures which would be nice.
We had a lovely Christmas, we have spent Christmas eve with my mum and dad, had dinner and opened presents, it was a really nice evening, Traditional meal is cabbage soup with smoked sausage, prunes, the main meal is carp but I don’t particularly like it so I have chicken with potato salad. Pudding but we were so full we did not eat it.
Christmas day we had dinner at mums again, roasted duck with red cabbage and dumplings is the order of the day, could not miss that. Yummy.
We have been going on walks as there is not much snow to play with and on, so we are exploring the countryside.
Due to the temperatures once it goes passed 10o’clock and its warm enough some bees come out.
The sheep have been grazing outside either with me, or in the fence outside the shed.
You never know my next post could be full of snow. We shall see.
